Unsweetened Chocolate - 4 ounces
Milk - 1¼ cup
Eggs (lightly beaten) - 2
Sugar - 1 cup
Cream - 1 cup
Salt - 1 pinch
Pure Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
Milk - ½ cup
1. Place the chocolate in a saucepan, over low heat.
2. Melt the chocolate and heat milk in another saucepan, over low heat then slowly, stir the milk into the melted chocolate.
3. Be careful to stir in milk gradually or else, the chocolate will clump and you will find it difficult to break it down.
4. Continue stirring, until the mixture is smooth and thick.
5. Beat sugar into eggs in a bowl.
6. Gradually stir in the chocolate mixture into the eggs.
7. Add cream, salt, vanilla and half cup milk.
8. Mix well and cool. Pour the contents into an ice-cream maker and freeze for at least 3 hours.
